Mechanical Workshop

KRH mechanical already services many vehicles from out of the area. Word has spread about our good name for not mucking people around or gouging on price, and we have noticed increased patronage from Dungog, Seaham, Stroud, Limeburners Creek, Brookfield, and Glen Oak. As a result, we are revamping our traditional two-bay workshop to offer more great service to the area, but also to bring in the overflow from onsite fleet servicing.

About the Mechanical Workshop

Our traditional two-bay workshop is being upgraded but you’ll still receive the fairest pricing in the region and the same top-notch skills.

We have diesel specialists and offer four-wheel drive and car servicing, and all work on brakes, clutches, steering and suspension. And of course, we provide registration inspections for light vehicles, trailers and caravans.

KRH Mechanical offers fleet maintenance, and we repair mining company light vehicles on-site, with any overflow easily accommodated in the workshop and returned the next day.

We are proud of the employment opportunities we provide, particularly training apprentices, and our community involvement, which includes supporting preschools, Clarence Town soccer club, the local museum, NSW Country rugby (men’s and women’s), Dungog rodeo, Muswellbrook polo, Rotary and Lions service clubs.

Current Job Opportunities

KRH has an established reputation as a provider of skilled tradespeople, line boring services and light-vehicle repair. We are one of the few companies with ongoing contracts for mining services support and as such require workers to help fulfil our obligations.

If you are a qualified line borer, plant mechanic, heavy vehicle mechanic, auto electrician, high-voltage electrician, fitter machinist or boilermaker and would like to work with one of the Hunter Valley’s most progressive businesses, please contact us.

We have ongoing long-term contracts for trades services offering excellent remuneration packages and have an enviable safety record. You must have experience with mining operations.

Our light-vehicle mechanical repair workshop and “headquarters” is based at Clarence Town and we are transforming the current two-bay shed into a state-of-the-art operation. But we are a “mobile” employer and service the Hunter Valley and Central Coast. Currently, we have 45 employees on the books, many of them home-based. Our policy, where possible, is to always employ locals. Please give us a call if you would like to join the KRH team.

Our Team

Forrest Saunders has established a great reputation throughout the Hunter Valley and Central Coast. He has assembled a skilled and dependable team, all of whom have worked on the tools and have a mining trades background.
